Corporate
Values

Whether you define your company's values or your employees' values, it is essential to make sure every employee, from top to bottom shares the same interpretation. The difference in creating and defining your overall culture in your organization will make or break your long term success.

Take a close look at your companys' values. Examples of values include work-life balance, honesty, customer care and progressive thinking. In order to gain a true buy-in and ownership from your employees, you must align organizational values with your employees' values. As an organization, you can start defining your corporate culture by asking:

  • Do your values reflect the values of its employees?
  • Do your employees share the same values as your organization?
  • If asked, what values would your employees identify as most important to your organization?
  • If the values of your organization are different from your employees', what should you do?
